More Academic Honors

The National Merit Scholarship Corporation has recognized twenty-nine St. Mark’s seniors as Commended Students, an honor based on PSAT scores and bestowed on only 34,000 students nationwide.
 
Congratulations to Shivum Agrawal, Alexander Choy, Otto Clark-Martinek, Carlton Elder, Brendan Freeman, Dominic Garcia, Matthew Genecov, Michael Gilliland, Michael Gohlke, Andrew Hall, Daniel Hersh, Harrison Hewitt, Dylan Kirksey, Hansen Kuo, RyanMiller, Will Moor, Taubert Nadalini, Robbey Orth, Adam Rawot, Raffy Salcedo, Warren Smith, Aditya Sureddi, Brian Vodicka, Henry Woram, Noah Yonack, Will Altabef, Pramukh Atluri, Hunter Book, and Zachary Burdette.
 
In addition to being recognized as National Merit Commended Students, Dominic Garcia received a National Hispanic Honorable Mention, and Carlton Elder was recognized as a National Achievement Semi-Finalist. Bryceson Holcomb and Deshawon Nembhard were also named Outstanding Participants.
 
As announced earlier, eighteen seniors were recognized as Semifinalists in the 2012 competition for National Merit Scholarships.
