Photo Instructor Receives Governor's Award

Photography instructor and Texas State Guard Sgt. Scott Hunt was honored as one of the Governor's Twenty by Gov. Rick Perry.

The Governor's Twenty Marksmanship Badge is awarded to the top twenty soldiers and airmen of the Texas Military Forces for their accomplishments in recent competitions. The award recognizes the top eight pistol and rifle competitors, and the top two machine-gun and sniper competitors through the Texas Military Forces.

Scott was recognized for winning Governor's Twenty badges in pistol, rifle, and sniper competitions, representing the 19th Regiment of the Texas State Guard.
