Parents Celebrate Under the Big Top

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, more than 600 community members gathered Under the Big Top to Celebrate St. Mark’s. For the first time in three years, the Parents’ Association welcomed guests back to campus for a circus-themed evening under a 60,000 square-foot tent built on the campus’s southwest lawn.

“It was an honor to celebrate with friends old and new at Under the Big Top, all in support of our boys and our School,” said Joy Coit and Hollee Hirzel, Celebrate St. Mark’s Co-Chairs. “After so much time spent apart and many new families joining St. Mark’s, we especially appreciated a chance to make lasting happy memories with our incredible, vibrant community.”

Parents, faculty, and staff mingled with jugglers, unicyclists, and ringmasters while enjoying tasty treats and midway games. An aerial performer wowed the audience before the start of the live auction, which featured some once-in-a-lifetime opportunities and experiences.

“We're especially grateful to the incredible parent volunteers who helped make the night unforgettable,” Joy and Hollee continued. “Special thanks go to Stephanie Seay, Brooke Bremer, Judy Bosita, Rita Han, and Alli Eagan. In addition, last night would not have been possible without our sponsors and donors. Because of their generosity, the Parents’ Association will be able to continue supporting critical priorities across campus.”
