Lunar New Year Celebrations 2026

All-School Assembly

Lower School Chapel

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, Lower School Chapel welcomed two guest musicians (who are also St. Mark’s grandparents). Professor Lu Hongyan performed on the erhu, a two-stringed bowed instrument, while Professor Liu Meili played the pipa, a four-stringed Chinese lute.

Guest speaker Tony Lu ’27 spoke about the significance of this holiday, blending personal memories with the traditional Zodiac origin.
