Student staff members begin their work nearly a year before publication, following a strict deadline schedule. The staff comprises of Upper School students led by a single editor-in-chief. Marskmen staff members are solely responsible for all phases of production, design, shipping, photography and distribution.

The Marksmen faculty advisor is Jenny Dial Creech, who also serves as the advisor for The ReMarker student newspaper. The editor-in-chief of the 2023 edition of the Marksmen is Jack Cohen ’23, while Noah Cathey ’24 has been appointed editor for the 2024 publication.
