Farewell to the Class of 2012

On the evening of August 15th, nearly 50 members of the Class of 2012 gathered for the annual College Send-Off. Marksmen received the opportunity to share tales of summer excitement and to wish one another well one last time before heading off to college. Class advisors JT Sutcliffe and Jon Valasek were in attendance, as well as a dozen or so other faculty members. Hamburgers, hot dogs, and Holtbergers were on the menu, making for a delicious send-off.

Director of Alumni Relations, Jim Bob Womack ’98, welcomed the graduates to the events and affirmed that St. Mark’s wishes to always stay an integral part of their lives. He reminded the group that St. Mark’s will host events all across the country this fall, and we hope to see members of the Class of 2012 in attendance. Headmaster Arnie Holtberg had a few parting words for the class as well, letting the Marksmen know that they are always welcome back on campus. As they head off into the world to do great things in life, Mr. Holtberg hopes they will always stay close to St. Mark’s.
