Alumni Association National Day of Service 2026

On Saturday, Feb. 7, more than 70 Marksmen and friends in cities across the country gave back to their local communities during the Alumni Association's seventh annual National Day of Service.

In Dallas, dozens of alumni and volunteers assembled snack packs, hygiene kits, and sandwiches for Austin Street Center. Alumni in Austin partnered with the Colorado River Alliance to help clean the Colorado River, while volunteers in Houston supported the Houston Food Bank by inspecting, sorting, and repackaging donated food for community distribution. In Boston, alumni organized items for Fenway Forward’s monthly market, and in New York City, participants served breakfast to those in need at the Bowery Mission—demonstrating, once again, how Marksmen put leadership and service into action wherever they gather.

The nationwide efforts were led by regional chairs Charles Branch ’10 (Austin), Shawn Schmidt ’06 (Houston), Jordan Dyslin ’11 (Boston), and Alex Brown ’09 (New York City).
