The varsity football team concluded its season this past Friday night with a game against ESD at home. Senior Colin Neuhoff finished the season with 945-yards passing and 14 TDs (12 passing and 2 rushing) while senior Jonathan Taylor led the team in rushing with 637-yards (5.6 yds/att) and 7 TDs. Senior wide receiver Ryan Warner led the team in receiving yards with 550 while junior Paxton Scott caught the most receiving TDs (7). On the defensive side of the ball, juniors Carr Urschel and Taylor Hopkin made life hard for opposing QBs, senior linebackers John Harbison and Davis Malouf were key players in stopping the run game and were the leaders in tackles on the team, and defensive backs Blake Rogers, a senior, and junior Anthony Andrews shut down the opponents passing game.
