Swimmers Break School Record

The Varsity Swim team competed in the TISCA 4A Frisco Invitational this past weekend. The team had a great showing, finishing 4th overall (out of 29 schools). The 200 Free Relay made up of Jack Pigott ’14, Kevin Wu ’16, Kevin Kim ’16, and Eric Li ’16 broke the school record with a time of 1:29.02 as they won the event. Other notable finishers were:

The Varsity Wrestling team competed in the Lone Star Pool Tournament here at St. Mark’s this past weekend.  Individual finishers were:

132 lbs. – Jake Holder ’15 - 3rd
138 lbs. – Blake Spangler ’15 - 5th

152 lbs. – Daniel Wechsler ’15 - 5th

The Varsity Basketball team played in the Wills Point Tournament this past Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  The team finished in 3rd place (out of 16 teams) beating Lone Oak, Red Oak Life, and Wills Point in the process.  Their lone loss came to TCA on Friday.  This week the team will play Churchie (from Australia) on Wednesday at home at 5:00 p.m. and then they go on the road to play Bishop Lynch on Friday, December 20.
 
The Varsity Soccer team played two non-counter matches this past week.  On Tuesday, they played Parish Episcopal, beating them by a score of 2-1.  Then on Friday, they took on Cistercian, losing 0-4.  The team has two road games this week at Trinity Christian on Tuesday, and at Prestonwood on Friday.
