Winter Sports Teams Dominate

The Varsity Soccer team played its first counter game of the season on Friday night against Trinity Valley.  After a hard fought first half in which the Lions had many chances but were unable to get any balls past the opponent’s keeper, the team struck for three second half goals to notch their first victory in as many attempts in their defense of last year’s SPC Championship.  They play two counter games on the road this week at Oakridge (Tuesday) and at Ft. Worth Country Day (Friday).

The Varsity Basketball team also played its first counter game of the season on Friday against Trinity Valley.  The team beat TVS by a score of 73-43 and was led in scoring by sophomore Jack Gordon with 21 points.  They will play two counter games this week at Oakridge (Tuesday) and at Ft. Worth Country Day (Friday).
