Cross Country, Volleyball SPC Bound
The Varsity Volleyball team won both of its games last week (vs. Trinity Valley & DFW Fall Ballers) and will enter the SPC tournament as the #1 seed from the North Zone. The Lions will play the winner of the play-in game (Kinkaid or Trinity Valley) at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, at Trinity Valley in Ft. Worth. If the Lions advance, they will play at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 10, at Trinity Valley, with a potential championship game at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
The Cross Country team will race in the SPC Championships Saturday, November 10, at 10:15 a.m. at Trinity Valley in Ft. Worth. On October 20, the Lions won the North Zone Championship on the same course that they will compete on this weekend. The squad will look to add an SPC Championship to the hardware already earned this season, but will be challenged by some stiff competition this Saturday from the South Zone.
