Celebrate St. Mark's

It is a pleasure to announce the theme for Celebrate St. Mark’s 2021. The Great Outdoors is a tribute to the 50th Anniversary of St. Mark's Wilderness Program. In 1971, St. Mark’s extended the Marksman education into the wild. Today, boys explore the great outdoors from Texas to Wyoming to the Pecos Wilderness. It’s hard to believe that the last time our community gathered together was for Lion Pride Night 2019, so we have even more reason to celebrate this milestone in the history of our school.

On April 17, we will Celebrate the Great Outdoors at St. Mark’s and extend the event beyond campus if you want to join us from home. On campus, we are planning a more casual, limited-capacity event in the Great Hall and outside in open areas. There will be food stations and open seating areas. For those who prefer to enjoy the fun from the comfort of your own campsite at home, we have a party package for you to enjoy while you watch along with our live event. But no matter where we might be, this will be a night to come together to honor our remarkable school and the friendships we’ve kindled along this path.

As we move into the new year, we will be sending you more information about what to expect, including sponsorship opportunities, a live auction, and a raffle package that every outdoorsman would love! We will also be updated the Celebrate page on the St. Mark’s Resource Board as more information becomes available. Tickets for both the on-campus event and the at-home party packages will be available when we round the bend into 2021. No matter how you choose to celebrate, we extend an invitation to join in the fun as we come together to honor the people, history, and traditions that make our school so remarkable.
