Seniors Aim to Collect 2,018 Gifts

The holiday season is underway and that means the Senior Class is once again encouraging the St. Mark’s community to give back. The Student Council and Community Service Board Gift Drive began last month and runs through Wednesday, December 13. This year, the Class hopes to collect more than 2,018 gifts to brighten the holidays for less fortunate children.

“I can honestly say that the best part of the Gift Drive is seeing the big smiles and laughter of children who receive these gifts,” said Canyon Kyle ’18, Student Council President.

In addition to donating gifts to charities such as The Salvation Army, members of the Class of 2018 will personally bring some holiday joy to the Dallas community. Just before Christmas Break, seniors will dress up as Santa and his elves to deliver gifts in person to children at David’s Place, a child development center of Head Start of Greater Dallas.
