Lion Sports Updates 08/29
The varsity cross country team opened the season at the Greenhill 6-mile Relay this past Saturday and had an auspicious debut. The Varsity "A" team of Seth Weprin ’19, Pablo Arroyo ’20, Tyler Nussbaumer ’20, and Andres Arroyo ’20 finished 1st in the 4A & Under division and third overall in a school record of 30:34. They were followed by the "B" Team in 9th place. There were 42 team in the race. This Saturday, the team travels to the Marcus I Invitational for their first 5K test of the season.
The varsity football team will open the season on the road this Friday at Greenhill. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
The varsity volleyball team will also begin its season on Thursday at Greenhill at 5:30 p.m.
