Season of Giving

On Thursday, December 8, more than two dozen Marksmen, Hockadaisies, faculty, and the Headmaster traveled to Austin Street Center to distribute hot meals. The annual Austin Street Dinner is the culmination of the Junior Class’s McDonald’s Week fundraiser, which last month collected more than $10,000 for the Center. As students served food, the Blues Club provided a holiday soundtrack.

“When we hand out food and see the people whose lives are directly impacted by our work, it feels amazing,” said Davis Bailey ’18, who Co-Chaired McDonald’s Week along with Will Wood ’18.

The season of giving continues with the Community Service Gift Drive, which will be collecting unwrapped gifts through Wednesday, December 14.
