Annual Report Reflects on 2015–2016

This week, St. Mark’s School of Texas released its online 2015–2016 Annual Report. It was a year of tremendous growth and community involvement at 10600 Preston Road. Unrestricted gifts to the St. Mark’s Fund grew by more than ten percent, the largest increase in a decade. The annual fund ended the year with a record-breaking $3.79 million contributed by more than 3,300 alumni, parents, and friends of the School. The School also gained momentum on two major initiatives: the Science Center Project, which includes the construction of the new Winn Science Center as well as the renovation of the McDermott-Green building, and work on Goals for St. Mark’s IV, the School’s forthcoming strategic plan.

“I am deeply gratified that, with your help and strong support, we have continued to advance the St. Mark’s mission of helping boys become good men,” Eugene McDermott Headmaster David Dini said in his letter to the community. “It has been a time of considerable progress and excitement, as we look to the future with a sense of optimism and determination.”
