School Welcomes Admission Deans

On Tuesday, January 26, 2016, the Deans of Admission from Boston College, Dartmouth College, Georgetown University, and UCLA visited campus to speak with parents and students. During a morning session, the Deans offered insights to parents about the role character and contribution to communities play in the application process. College essays and summer activities were also topics of interest in the discussion and the Deans shared some stories from their vast and varied experiences. In speaking to parents, the Deans stressed the importance of allowing students to pursue what they love on both academic and non-academic levels rather than what they think colleges want to see.

In the afternoon, the sophomore and junior classes had a chance to hear advice and ask questions as they enter the admission process.
