Marksman Voted Into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

St. Mark's own Distinguished Alumnus Steve Miller '61 was voted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Thursday, December 17, 2015. The multitalented singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer will join fellow 2016 inductees including, Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple, and N.W.A., at the 2016 induction ceremony on Friday, April 8, 2016.

In February 2015, Steve Miller returned to campus and, along with several Marksmen musicians, performed a special concert for students and faculty. The following evening, more than 750 parents, faculty and staff members, alumni, and friends came together for Celebrate St. Mark's. The Thomas O. Hicks Athletic Center was transformed into a concert hall where Steve Miller rocked the night away with the St. Mark's community. Steve was also on campus to perform at St. Mark's Centennial anniversary with a fantastic outdoor concert and celebration.
