Three Marksmen Advance in Biology Olympiad

Three St Mark's students earned the distinction of semifinalist for the 2015 United States Biology Olympiad. Congratulations to Juniors Mitchell So, Akshay Malhotra, and sophomore Rohin Maganti. Aprroximately 10,000 students take the qualifying exam annually, of which only 10 percent continue to the semifinals.
 
The semifinalists will take the finalist test at the end of March. Based on test scores, 20 students nationwide will be selected to advance and undergo training at Purdue University. Just four students from there will be selected to represent the U.S. at the International Biology Olympiad held in Denmark this July.
