Math Students Place First

On Saturday, January 31, 2015, four St. Mark’s Middle Schoolers took home the top prize at the 2015 TSPE MathCounts Competition at SMU. The team of Dylan Liu ’19, Albert Luo ’19, Sahitya Senapathy ’20, and Matthew Zhang ’19 will advance to the State MathCounts Competition on March 27. Cheering on the team was a group of Upper Schoolers who have been helping the boys prepare for their competition. 
 
Hosted by the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, MathCounts is a nationwide program that promotes math excellence for middle school students and combines the efforts of the education, business, government, and technological communities.
