Yearbook Receives National Acclaim

The 2013 Marksmen yearbook and its publisher, Jostens, were named as recipients of the 2014 Premier Awards from the Printing Industries of America. In addition, St. Mark’s was one of three schools to receive first place Awards of Recognition, along with Duke University and Harvard University. This the second time a St. Mark’s yearbook has won this award, the first being in 2009, an almost unheard of feat for the PIA Awards.

The Premier Awards are given based on the quality of the printing, page design, typography, and photography. Leaders of the 2013 Marksmen staff included editor Parker Matthews ’13, managing editor Andrew Graffy ’13, head photographer Riley Graham ’14, and section editors Matt Mahowald ’14 and Sam Perkins ’14.
