Senior Wins Gold with Team USA Water Polo

On July 15, 2014, Timothy Simenc ’15 and Team USA Water Polo took home the Gold in the UANA Junior Pan Am Championship in Riverside, California. The Team won against Brazil in a very tense 10-9 match.

Tim earned his spot on the USA Water Polo Men's Youth National Team after a grueling nine-month tryout process. He is the first Texan to receive this honor and is one of only four other players outside of California to join the team as a junior.

The champions enjoyed a little down time before flying to Sicily where they will compete in the Six Nations Tournament. After that, the team will compete in the FINA Youth World Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.
