Dallas Morning News Reports Campaign Conclusion

On November 5, 2013, St. Mark's was featured on the front page of The Dallas Morning News Metro section for the successful conclusion of The Centennial Challenge. The Campaign stands as one of the most ambitious comprehensive fundraising efforts among day schools in the nation. With a goal of $110 million, the Campaign brought together the entire St. Mark's community. More than 700 volunteers worked tirelessly for a final tally of $112,210,369 in gifts and pledges from 5,761 unique donors.

The article also made note of the School's impressive annual fund participation rate which, at 56 and 90 percent peak participation for alumni and parents respectively, stands among the highest in the nation.

“We had a devoted team of staff and great volunteers,” Casey McManemin ’79 said in the article. “In the end, it was a people campaign — by, for, and about the people at St. Mark’s.”
