“No surprise here. Sahil Dodda came into this season a different person and a different runner. He took all the frustration of the Covid-19 isolation to motivate himself to log many miles of base training, mixed in some intervals, and returned to school in august on a mission. From the very first day, he pushed himself and everybody around him through new barriers. Everyone on the team benefited from his attitude, focus and determination. Sahil Dodda dominated every race this past season and then capped it off with a new school record set at one of the prestigious meets in the nation. His mark of 15:04.2 breaks the school record by over 35 seconds. This year’s Cross Country MVP is Sahil Dodda.”
