Worth on April 29-30, this meet looked to be closer than any of the meets in several years. As part of the yearlong Centennial Celebration, the weekend included the Homecoming Kickoff Reception on Friday evening on campus in the A. Earl Cullum, Jr., Alumni Commons, a meeting of the Board of Trustees on Saturday morning, followed by on campus activities for alumni and their families and finally Class Reunion events on Saturday night. It is with genuine sadness that St. Mark’s announces the loss of Robert K. Hoffman ’65 – past President of the Board of Trustees, Distinguished Alumnus, Life Trustee, former Alumni Association President, and great friend of the School. Robert died from Leukemia on Sunday, August 20, 2006.

This past weekend the St. Mark's debate squad travelled to the University of Texas to compete in both novice and varsity debate. On Thursday, April 17, The Dallas Morning News named the ReMarker newspaper the “Best Paper” in its annual High School Journalism competition. Edited by Winn Cutler ’03, the St. Mark’s student newspaper competed against 40 schools in the Class B category.
