In Lower School students learn to express their intuitive dramatic insights and gain appreciation for the work of classmates and professionals. Each grade focuses on a body of literature as the source for dramatic activities.
In the Middle School, Marksmen have a choice of Fine Arts courses. Those who choose to continue in Drama and Film studies are offered a variety of creative experiences in drama including improvisations, pantomimes, scenes, and plays, and film studies.
In the Upper School drama students take part in all areas of a drama production. They perform in three major productions during the year and experience acting, directing, stagecraft, as well as set and costume design. Upper School film studies classes begin with screenwriting and then move through production of the film to post production skills.
