After receiving his B.S. in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University, Mark Adame started working in the research laboratory at UTMB in Galveston, which later moved him to the University of Arkansas for Medical Science, where he continued his research. After a year in Arkansas, Mark received his teaching certificate through the alternative certification program. For seven years, he taught both Pre-AP Biology and AP Biology at WD Mills University Studies High School in Little Rock, in addition to coaching cross-country and maintaining his research position. Mark moved to Carrollton, Texas, in 2003 to teach AP & Pre-AP Biology and serve as the CFBISD lead AP science teacher. He is currently the sponsor for the St. Mark's Cycling Club as well as the Biology Club.
