    As holder of the Cecil H. & Ida Green Master Teaching Chair in Science, Mark Adame teaches classes in biology, AP biology and DNA science. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and an M.A.T. from the University of Texas at Dallas. A member of the St. Mark’s community since 2007, he sponsors various clubs including the Cycling Club, the Anatomy Club and the Biology Club. Adame has led nine Pecos Wilderness trips and participated in four seventh and eighth grade campouts. He began his teaching career in 1996 in Little Rock, Arkansas as instructor of pre-AP biology and AP biology. Adame also taught in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch school district, where he was the lead science teacher for the district. A recipient of the John H. Murrell Excellence in Teaching Award, he has a minor planet (32379 Markadame) named for him.

St. Mark’s School of Texas is a private, nonsectarian college-preparatory boys’ day school for students in grades 1 through 12, located in Dallas, Texas. St. Mark’s aims to prepare young men to assume leadership and responsibility in a competitive and changing world.
